Zarak grew up in the mountains of Henar in the town of Treya not too far from the Capitol and Stone Pass. His race is known for its aggressive nature and he was no exception, he started fighting at a young age in the streets. He didn’t have parents to watch out for him as his father died in a mining accident and his mother died in childbirth. Without parents he moved from town to town until he came to a smaller mining camp north of Oredale. He could work the mines during the night even as a young kid, they liked him because he was small and could fit into tight spaces. He grew stronger and life was looking up for the kid until he turned 10 and a raid from “Ori’tok’s Children” rampaged through the camp killing all of the miners he knew and claimed him as one of their own children. He grew up a son of Ori’tok, tortured and bloody. Most of his scars come from those years of his life, emotional and physical. At the age of 23 he was left for dead on a hunting trip where he got brutally wounded by a large hog creature’s tusk. A young Fae found him and brought a Fae Spirit healer to save him. Allowing Zarak to escape with nothing but his scars and what little remained of his life. The young Fae took it upon him/herself to introduce the beast Zarak had become into society. Now a year later, Zarak is now able to interact with others naturally but continues to have triggers that send him into tantrums.
Other: his eye at the age of 14 for looking at one of the forbidden daughters of Ori’tok.
Trix is his best and only friend
DETAILED ROLE PLAY SAMPLE
Zarak steadied his bow and took aim at the doe dipping her lips into the babbling brook that carved its’ way through this part of the woods. Pulling back his elbow hit something and flinched. The arrow was released and missed the doe by at least 3 feet, scaring the deer away. Frustrated Zarak threw the bow to the ground and whipped around to see what he had hit. His angry traveling hand connected with the nimble body of a small Fae, Trix, and his green fingers trapped the fae in his grasp.
“You little bug, that was an easy kill and you ruined it!” He growled and squeezed the fae.
Trix just laughed histarically and wheezed a little as Zarak held him tighter.
“Oh come on you big oaf, if it was so easy you would have gotten it. Anyways, relax there are plenty of deer where that came from.” He/She snickered as the orc released him/her.
“Shut up.” The orc combated with and flicked the little fae. “Why are you even here?”
“To make sure you don’t get killed of course, wouldn’t want to find you on the ground with your organs painting the ground red, a big boar poking at them again now would I?” The fae joked. “But in all seriousness it’s getting late we should bunker down for the night.”
“And what you’re too small to set up my tent?” The orc scoffed.
“Exactly.” The fae winked.
